Autonomous ErgoChair Pro — Full Adjustment Review

The ErgoChair Pro ships with 11 adjustment points, which sounds impressive until you realize that most chairs advertise “adjustable” lumbar support that moves half an inch. This one actually works.

What ChairWise tested

We measured seat depth travel (3.7 inches — best in class under $400), lumbar vertical range (2.4 inches), and arm swivel (30°). After 4 weeks of daily use by three testers ranging from 5’4” to 6’2”, the ErgoChair Pro held up across body types.

Who it fits — and who it doesn’t

Fits well: Testers between 5’5” and 6’1” with average hip width. The seat is 20” wide.

Doesn’t fit as well: Testers over 6’2” found the seat pan too short for full thigh support. The 290 lb weight limit also rules it out for some users.

The lumbar system specifically

Unlike budget chairs with a fixed foam bump, the ErgoChair Pro uses a flexible TPE lumbar panel with vertical adjustment. Set correctly, it maintains the natural S-curve of the spine during forward lean.

Value assessment

At $399, it competes with the Secretlab Titan and similar gaming chairs. For pure ergonomics — not aesthetics — it wins on adjustment range. The closest competitor at this price with similar lumbar travel is the Branch Ergonomic Chair at $329, which sacrifices arm swivel in exchange.
